I just finished scanning, copying, pasting and saving the graduation pictures of the students of three grade six sections. Hard work, really. My fingers are already painful. Chimes work again.

Actually, I dislike the name of our school's yearbook. Why "Chimes" of all things? And to make things worse, that term has stuck to our minds that we refer yearbook as Chimes. It's like "photocopy" and "Xerox", the only difference is that only Judenites can understand the other meaning of Chimes. Outsiders would think of it as the tubular bell.

Hmm...I just searched "Chimes" at Google and so many results came out. Apparently, people use it as the name of their establishments and one school newspaper even uses it as its name.

Oh well.

My youngest brother is going to graduate tomorrow. He'll be stepping into the world of grade school this coming school year. What joy. And to think that I'm already going to start my first year in college.

Oh yeah. The school is brainwashing the kids. I found out when Audrey and I were at the auditorium while the Prep 3 students were there. They were going to have a tour on the grade school and high school grounds so that they'll be familiar with the place come June. Anyway, a video was presented where you can see grade schoolers having lots of fun. Then, one of the grade one teachers was talking on the microphone, telling them how wonderful being a grader is. That being in grade school would mean plenty of fun. That all the teachers are nice.

Right.

When my sister heard this, she launched into a tirade about how difficult being in grade school is, how scary some of the teachers are, etc...My youngest brother merely shrugged and told us that he didn't believe in the teachers.

I blame myself and his two other older siblings for that. We're such good influences, aren't we?

We had our graduation mass last Saturday. A video made by the teachers was presented as a tribute to us. It was really sweet of them. Fr. Marquez also told us that the number of students who have passed ADMU, DLSU, UP and UST has increased by two percent. Lol. Yes, gloating here.

Speaking of ADMU, I just don't understand my parents, their friends and my relatives. When I couldn't decide where I wanted to study, they told me to go to Ateneo. Now that I've decided to pursue my college studies there, they're asking me whether I'm sure. And I thought they'd be glad by my decision. How would they like it if I decided to apply in La Salle at the very last minute?

sore throat and sunburns...

My throat hurts. I think I'm coming down with a cough.

I'm going to kill my brother for it.

Anyway, I had fun at the farewell party of the religious organizations. We swam, ate, played board games, ate, played basketball, ate...and ate some more. Lol. Though I'm going to admit that the farewell party didn't seem like a farewell party. It came off as a bonding experience for me. And that makes the whole thing seem wrong. Bondings are supposed to take place before the school year starts so that people will get to know each other. Not after the school year ends...especially since I won't be seeing much of the undergrads.

Almost everybody who went to the outing was suffering from sunburns. Proofs that we went swimming were our aching bodies, red faces and low energy. My face was in pain for the past two days because of sunburn.

And I also went to Mrs. Gines to get the write-ups for the grade 6 students. She promised, again, that she'll give me the write-ups by Monday. Don't know if I should expect to have them by Monday though. She also gave me a new nickname: Alex. For some reason, she's having difficulty remembering my name.

I went to the office a while ago to try and help out in whatever I can. I ended up doing sudoku since Mom didn't tell me what I should do. My two brothers were sitting next to me playing with their gameboy. (Well, the younger one was watching the older one play.) Sis was outside playing with MS Excel.

Later, Mom scolded me for being so lazy and irresponsible. She often complains that I never help out in the office, that I am always the one wasting money, etc. Then she told me to look at my younger bro and try to imitate him since he's always helping out with office work. Wtf? Playing gameboy is helping out with office work?

Right. So I'm ranting.

I also had a strange dream two nights ago. The dream focused on snakes. And what made the dream weirder was that all the snakes were green. Creepy.

Finally, I just want to mention that college scares me. Thinking about being in a place where I barely, or even do not, know anyone just freaks me out. Seriously, I don't know how to make friends if I'm not with a friend. I need to be with someone I'm comfortable with before I get the courage to go out and meet new people. It's really not my fault that majority of my batchmates will be studying in La Salle and UST.
